Is it possible to set the quickscan interval less than 30 minutes?

Right now, we are missing a lot of waste toner alerts, because Sharp goes from 0 to 100% when full.

If the customer changes the waste toner in that 30 minutes, we dont get an alert...

Also, when they get errorcodes en reboot the machine so they can continue, the alert is not sent.

How can we fix this? Is there a way to push the alerts from the machine to the Ice client? So it gets all of them?

Hello,

No it is not, values lower than the minimums stipulated in IDM will be corrected to those minimums by ICE if it encounters lower values.

ICE does not perform SNMP trapping, all alerts in IDM are generated by comparing current and previous scan results as each scan is received.

Thank you,

So does this mean i have to configure the TRAP ip address on the copier?

I guess we have to fill in the ipadress of the pc/server where the ICE is running?

Hello,

Sorry, no, that was a typo in my original post, which has been corrected.

ICE/IDM do NOT perform SNMP trapping, all alert events are generated by comparing the current scan to the previous scan.

Hello,

No, the application is performing within it's design parameters. Some events may slip through these windows, but typically the vast majority do not.

Hello,

No there are no plans to use SNMP-trapping for remote monitoring in the future.  The ICE software is designed to be an unobtrusive remote monitoring system rather that real time SNMP monitoring tool such as Nagis or Solarwinds.
