Hi there

This issue happens at two seperate sites using Macs. Basically we have to constantly uninstall and reinstall the client software for no ap[parent reason.

Once the reinstallation takes place, next month we pay them a courtesy call the client software is not populating on the dock of the Mac and the PA6 is not accounting for jobs. if they hit print the job goes straight through:(

Like i said this happens at 2 seperate sites ranging from OSX 10.4 -10.6.

Not sure what to do here. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried upgrading on the latest version of the Mac build? We recently released a new build on January 26th, 2011. Build version 6.1.11.

Hi there

Yes the entire system has been upgraded. One particular site has a mixture of MACs from  10.4 to 10.6.

The Macs have the latest client (the one you linked) and the server has been updated to the latest version 6.2.0. This was done last week and we have had an engineer there today having to uninstall/reinstall etc. When he got onsite some machines were not populating the client in the Mac dock and users were unable to print. Once the client was uninstalled the user could print no problems. The engineer than reinstalled the client and it works again.

This is super fustrating and wasting a lot of our resources in the field. As this happens at two seperate sites I can only deduce it is a problem with PA6. Is there anything I need to do at the server end?
