How can I change the wording for each transaction that is recording under a specific column. When a copy transaction is recorder, under the "Document" column it reads copies pages. How can I change it read something else?

Unfortunately the software does not currently have a way to change this text.

The only way we could get around this is if you are tracking all your copies to an SQL database. If this is the case, you could use a tool such as Microsoft’s Enterprise Manager to alter the text.

To change these fields, do the following:

1. Open the Enterprise Manager and connect to your SQL Server.

2. Once you’ve done that, you will see a database folder listed below your server name. Expand this folder so all databases on your server are visible.

3. Now, expand the database which Print Audit uses.

4. After that, click on the ‘Tables’ icon.

5. Next, right-click on the ‘tblPrintJobs’ table (in the right pane) and select ‘Open Table’ followed by ‘Return All Rows’.

6. You should now see all of the copy/print jobs that have been tracked to the database. In addition, you will now also have the option of changing any of the data you see.

7. To change the data, simply click on the cell you wish to change and type the modified information. Keep in mind that the color column uses a value of 0 (zero) to indicate the absence of color, while a value of 1 (one) indicates that there was color.

8. That’s it! Once you’re done making changes simply close the Enterprise Manager.
